Ok guys, I keep getting asked this, "what is the better lower for the YT." This is what I have come up with and here is why, and remember "kids" this is what I have learned from "butt experience"... That being said, here goes.

1.The CLE with the bob's cone is the fastest, probably due to the design.
2.The Stock lower with the bob's cone seems to be the best all arround.
3.The Sportmaster looks cool, (I did not get much setup time) but it was not awsome, for the price.
4. The Stock CLE seemed to scare the S**T out of me as it would China-Walk out of nowhere and for no apparent reason.

I have tried 1 and 2 at allot of heights and had good success with them. 4 just outright scared me and wanted to "blow out" allot, that could be due to the design of the boat, but again I am not sure.

Ok, I am done, if you have any more questions feel free to ask.... If anyone has found out something else that works let me know! I am always down to try things atleast twice, and last but not least, if somewone wants to send me another nosecone to try, I am gravy for that too, I just had access to bobs' to test with.

Ryan,
Good posted info..I was trying alot of set up over the summer on my yt.
And what i found was a stock 1.87 or 2.1 case with bob cone a torch tab was the best all around case for me.
Now ive also tried the cle 1.87 with tab and with bobs plate and with out and over all that was not good for me.The boat would run to the high 70s and then start running funny and you would not want to run any faster since it was out of control.

The bobs plate was the badest thing ive ran on any boats..

The info you posted is great.
I enjoy seeing these posts since it helps others from buying and playing to find things dont work..

It stops the hole in the water to where money is thrown..

Thanks again

Changed some things again today.... Dropped the motor down quite a bit, it's now level or slightly below the pad. I am also using a 4 blade 26 Chopper. The boat seemed to have allot of hop below 30Mph but after that it was awsome. The hole-shot was amazing and the acceleration to 60 was amazing, past that is was scary though due to the height of the motor. Gonna try to raise it up tommorow and see how it does.

i have never tried a cle but my stock 1.87 to 1 with a bobs nose cone and no torque tab run excelent on my boat. 84.6 with a prov 150 yamaha 1/2" to 1" above good holeshot little porpoising and a little chine walk but nothing that you cant drive though. with a mazco re3 30 with 4" setback.
