Hello,

I have a 92' mercury 2.0 150hp. The motor is on a 17.5 procraft turning a 23p tempest plus. It has wmh-13 carbs now and I believe it has horiz reeds and was wondering about the 200hp carb swap.

Would I need to swap the whole front half or could I just switch the carbs?

Which carbs are the best to go with? I have seen people say wh-20 and up. What is the difference in "pumper carbs" and what ever else there is?

Cross drilled intake or not? velocity stacks or not? What about different a reed cage set up? 4 peddle 5 peddle? ect....

I plan on cutting the heads this season and doing all of the bolt on stuff I have read about on this site, but I wasnt sure what carb to shop for.

also, what is the process in removing the advance module?

Thanks for any help,

Chris
