New episode is absolutely hilarious! The boys gang up to run a Harley gang out of town after growing sick of their open pipes roaring through town.
They petition the controllers of dictionary definitions to say that "***" means Harley Riders and win :p:D:thumbsup:
Find this episode and tape it.
HILARIOUS!

Too funny - and as I was watching it some FAGS drove by my place so I couldn't hear the computer. The only Harley worth anything is the VRod and it was made by Porsche. -- bunch of noisy unbalanced leaky engines with no horsepower ridden by fat old guys

There was a time in the past when the bikes were actually cool. At some point they became associated with middle-aged pathetic dorks who are willing to spend gobs of money on these obnoxious unreliable machines made of poor technology.

That episode is so funny because I think it conveys the exact feelings of most people towards these things.

I really believe that H-D is going to be in big financial trouble in the future because people are going to come to realize that the whole concept of those things is just a dying fad.

Due to the economy they are already in deep trouble. I think they have closed at least one of their factories. More to come in the near future: http://www.jsonline.com/business/44838642.html

Another big problem is they saturated the market over the last few years. There is nothing unique about them anymore.

Got behind a group today they were doing about 46 mph in a 55 zone in the middle of farm country. I don't have anything against cruising slow and smelling the roses, but we all know that it's all about what speed will produce the loudest, most obnoxious thumps. Then they went through a curve posted for 40 and it really spooked them. We were down to 43 mph even after they got back into the straightaway. My Yamaha 250 was in pain trying to go slow enough to ride with the wannabes. Probably had been 2 or 3 miles since their last beer stop, so their shaved heads must have been getting too cold by then to go any faster.

Ever notice how most of them won't wave to a Jap biker? And if they do, it's usually the last guy in the lineup so that none of his friends see him do it.

I knew it would turn into this, but ya all spot on. It AINT..the way it was, years ago. Been a Saddlerat 50 years, so know the "scene"
Seen the "Rice/HD, from the start. I still have 3 HD's..(Shovelhead Chopper, 79, BIG motor, Bagger, stock, road bike, and a Sporty, 72 motor, Dragbike), and a Honda CBR monster...blow anything away)
Same me going down the road, on a HD.."HOW YA DOING"..wave. CBR, SAME DUDE....seen a finger or two. But heres my bitch. The jackoffs who bird me? Probably aint been riding for but a few years.."look at me", I'm LOUD, and tough!
BS. MANY years going to Sturgis. Always a gas. After about 92, I could NOT TAKE IT ..anymore, corporate came in for the dough. Freaking wannabee's, and NOT REAL bikers. $60, Glencoe Camp, by the dragstrip, WAS, $60, 10 days, free firewood, free bands, went to damn near same price, for 2 nights. And pay, and pay, and pay.
Said "seya"
Now its bought bikes, old farts on top,..(what do the kids buy.CROTCH ROCKETS!)...way too much chrome..(not thats theres anything wrong with that!)
Now, back to the noise. I like HD's..(old, worked over..NOT BOUGHT), the super idle "thump", the torque...the "looks".
Simply does something to yer brain..."Can't Explain?"
Jerks now, buy a new bike, dump the stock pipes for loud, and somehow ..now.."I'm SOMEBODY!"
Sad....and HD, ...(like this whole damn USA)..is toast.
And the new..clad in squeaky leather, never seen rain, to break'em in...(I got a good 50,000 miles, month long, cross country trips done)..the zillion "patches"..those STUPID "Do-RAG"s.....freaking want to HURL.
I grew up in the 60's, Chicago, and RODE with the Chicago "Outlaws".
Have to dig up some pix...."the way it was...REAL..NOT, what the newb wannabes think they are..
And I wave to everyone....as few have the balls to ride..and we are all "brothers..and sisters"...

DO IT!:D..its a "anything goes anyway"..cops are still cool..the weirder the better..its for the kids..lining the streets for MILES! DAMN, I miss that ride.

We went down one year, 40's, sun, but the way home, back the 20 mile ride back to the burbs, cold front, came in..freezing rain the way home.

Slicker the dogchit, drunk, 900 pound bike, got home, frozen solid, icicles hanging off the bike, rolled it in the garage, slapped it on the azz, said "Good Ride!"..went to the hot tub, still a grinning. Damn good people back there, damn good food, damn good times...hope the weather holds. The Chitown Toy Run, is a freacking CLASSIC!

My Bagger came off an C/O. Pretty sure 94, the year I was packing for the west coast, invited too the Clubhouse, in Ceciro, annual..party/fund raiser.
Didn't make it..(George Thourogood ..(sp..but BAD TO THE Bone..was the band! ..ROCKED THEM SILLY)
Seems there was some ..rival club..(aint gonna do names)..rode by, and tossed a freacking GERNADE, at the parked out front bikes!
Least what I was told.
I remember the super downtown, March.."Swap Meet"..(just after Daytona bike week..you could tell, who went..either a pale white boy, or a REAL.."Red Face~!"
The C/O still wearing those leather "Aussie".."Duster",..coats? The ankle scrapers?
Good people..fun times, but ya better be real, or torch yer bike, and you are the .."kindling!"
Again, stand up people, ..could go on, but won't.

Couple pix, my old Triumph..first one a "photo shoot"..old GF took it..we just got back from a wedding..new 67 Mustang, in the background. second is a year later, in my dads basement...if ya look REAL close, ya can see how I raised the frontend. Muffler clamps, on the down tubes, holding the front end up. Just above the sliders, clamps/bolts were facing the tire..real hard too se, but thats what I stupidly did.
HA!..solid rear end OK..NOT FRONT. Then soon later.."Franks Forks", Illinois, started doing long tubes! And the rest is history..had a LOT of fun back then.."kid stupid"..:D

I bought my FXSTDI because the wind in Oklahoma. It is so constant that sportbikes kite and wander. I didn't realize I was buying into a circle of friends and a lifestyle. Those people bore me. For every person that legitimately lives a biking lifestyle, there are 100 posers...people wearing leather chaps and vests in 100 degree temperatures. Come on.

I've quit riding in groups - even charity rides - because of the continuing degradation of behavior. Posers floating on the rev limiter while leaving a small quiet town serves no constructive purpose.

A bike forum! YEP..We need one! "Other Motosports" cool, but as seems we all have bikes, be a good idea!

And YEP!...adventure riding ....!! Lots going on in Colorado, organized. Pacific Northwest.(me)..needs someone to get something started. Aint like we are short of mountains here. I'm an old dirtbiker, and to tell ya the truth, had more fun in the bush, than the street.
Sick of avoiding idiots, wandering over in my space, the road, looking down, "texting"..celling someone, ANYTHING but watching who they are about to hit, head on, crossing the way over, into MY DAMN LANE.

Robby you are right but in one respect the dude was asking for it. Well, on the net you will sure get it. This is why I left the bike boards, everybody tryin to out cool the next guy and ready to start a bona fide internet war over it. Keyboard warriors, kinda like one hand clapping. (Rosey)
You see a little of it with the boats but NOTHING like the bikes. I'm no outlaw, rode my Trump for 25 years, had my 95 glide for 8 years. I like the British bike crowd, the least amount of BS of any rally guys I've met. Only hear Hardly-Ableson 3 or 4 times a day with them.

As far as South park, ain't that the cartoon where the little Kenny guy gets killed every show? pffftt.

Yeah, we can do boats, little bitch, but the "bike culture"..is some new ballgame, .."us/them"..now..makes no sense to me after all these years riding..like starting an "which oil is best?"
