now from what i just saw on the weather channel on TV they said sometime sat morning it will be at the western tip of cuba and MAY be a hurricane by then

i'm not sure we should throw in the towel yet!! as other floridians know on these boards it can go just about anywhere in the beginning, they watch the cooler hogh pressure systems to see if it will push it away, so we will have to wait and see :rolleyes:

i got most of friday night off too :rolleyes: only have to work 3 hours and got the cabin for 2 nights and now this **** :rolleyes:

Skip you may want to update your weather links. I came home, showed Joy the thread and best I can tell, hurricane joy is building in intensity and headed inland towards the Poinciana area. I was also told to inform you that there will be no evacuation of the area. Well she didn't say that exactly, but she did mumble something about you being able to run, but not hide while stuffing shells in the shotgun. I'd help you out, but once she picked up the 12-gauge, I knew it was on then and my self-preservation mode kicked in. Sorry bro, you on your own. :eek: :D

Umm Skip, don't forget, Joy has a map, and "family" in New Hampshire. Also bear in mind that it's not uncommon for a hurricane to travel up the east coast.

im glade it looks like it will miss us here in the keys,and im sure you guys know if its blowin 80 to 100 there just run down wind at 80 to 100 , and there will be no wind at all. when you turn around idle back to the dock and and the boats will stay nice and clean. if there are enough blenders going you wount even hear the wind houling. if the hurricane doesen't get over 100mph my money is on scream and fly after 100 it's going to be a tough call, but i know you guys are going to have a great time no matter what. wish i could go.:cool:
