this jackplate has a external trim motor and the factory doesn't offer it anymore. does anyone know where you can get one. looks like the old chrysler and OMC motors but they are not the same. later Larry D

if it is an old CMC, you can put a bobs in the boat and run lines to the pump, that is what I have seen done on those plates

:iagree: Thats your best bet,no one makes the pumps anymore, the sompany went outta business like a year after cmc started using the pumps, there are no rebuild kits that I'm aware of.
So iff u have the room in the boat the Bob's pump is a great way to go, then head on down to a hyrbolic shop and get em to make you up some lines

You can use a Mercury or Mercruiser pump as well. Hoser can get you the hydraulic lines.

Had one fail many years ago. Took the unit to an electrical repair center that rebuilds alternators, generators, and electrical motors. They replaced the brushes and unit was good to go. Might be an inexpensive alternative.

My dad did the same thing with his...works like a champ and a lot cheaper than any of the other options.

I replaced mine with a standard Mercury inboard trim pump. I think it works better than the original
