what is a more effective way of tuning a boat and altering its cg, relocating the battery fore/aft or changing the setback on the boat?

DEPENDS ON VARIABLES


how much does the boat weigh ?
how much does the batt. weigh ?
and what would be the cg transfer say, per inch of setting back motor ?

example if your batt. weighs 40 pounds and you move it around compared to moving the engine back an inch may be eqaulivent to 80 pounds of weight transfer

If you need a minor balance change, but everything else is good, move the battery.

If it's awful, and you need to take a big swing at it, change the setback.
