Hello..I have a 29' Cobra cat with twin big bore v8's (350hp) each. The boat is currently set up with 6 inch setbacks in combination with power jackplates to adjust motor height. Gear ratio is 1.76..Low water pickups..Trying to establish prop set up for max performance. Boat came with 28p Spinelli 3 blade cleavers that turn 6100 rpm and runs 82-82 mph. Considering 4 blade cleavers or higher pitch 3 blade cleavers. Not sure which direction to try? Slip factor currently 10% with current props..Go higher in pitch with 3 blade cleavers? Try 4 blade cleavers at what pitch? Any imput on this set up?
