Where is it sold? Sold online anywhere? I believe i've read that it is a synthetic blend. Is it the same as quick silver performance synthetic blend that wally world sells for 28 bucks a gallon?
Don't want an oil war started, i just wanna know where to get this oil, and what the bottle looks like

When I bought it,came in a 2 1/2 jug and white in color and cost $90 each. I've got some left over, I would buy a pallet at the time when I had a spectre.....

I have no doubt the Alisyn is great oil. I've just been kinda weary of full synthetics at high rpm's in a steel sleeve motor?

The Merc Racing oil is also a full synthetic and is priced through the roof. That is the oil in the white jug with red/black label. The Merc/Quicksilver Premium Plus is a synthetic blend and can be found just about anywhere. What is your idea of high RPM and what engine are you running?

It is a 2.4L Merc Fatblock with behind the liner porting done. Steel Sleeved. Going to prop it to turn 8500-9000 rpm's.

US1, are you saying the Mercury Premium Plus Synthetic Blend is what i need to run?
Or the Merc Racing in the white bottle that is higher in price?
I am sure there are other good oils. The Merc is just the one I have experience with. I do recommend the blend with steel sleeves and an open cooling system.

That link I gave you, the oil will work but its not really for 9000 plus RPM. You need the white bottle. I have a 55 gallon drum. I don't know who sells it in 2.5 gallon jugs other than a HP Dealer.

Why do you recommend the blend in this case?
Thanks
It has the least chance of aluminum transfer with an open cooling system than anything else I have tested yet.

Any Merc dealer can get it, I used to have my local Bayliner dealer order it for me....
