Or for that matter, any very soft plastic? A product that removes existing scratches would be nice too.

Meguiars makes a plastic polish, click here (http://meguiarsdirect.com/detail/MEG+M1008) to go directly to the meguiars store. My clients with airplanes request this and only this to be used on their clear plastics. It is a 2-part system, the cleaner then polish. A little bit goes a long way with this stuff, so those small bottles should last you a long time.

I use Plexus or 210 plastic cleaner/polish Had good results with both but Plexus is easier to find, most bike shops have it in stock I think Canadian Tire got it to. I used both on aircrafts, ski-doo and a lot of other plastic parts, it works well just be sure to use a clean micro-fiber towel .
