I've noticed that the timing advance arm doesnt move the whole way up when the throttle is pushed to WOT. Just a little bump with my finger, and it goes right to the stopper. Any suggestions or tricks? Thanks!
Obviously this is with the motor off.

Sounds like it's binding..... make sure the wires aren't so stiff that they prevent the timer base from moving freely. The grease on the timer base where it rotates in the upper bearing cap may be hardened. The easy way to try to fix it is to spray some CRC up into the timer base where it meets the cap..... The right way is to pull the flywheel, stator and timer base and clean and re-grease the slide.

I do beleive its the grease is hardened, because once the motor warms up, and I shut it down, It moves most of the way on its own. All but about the last 1/2" or so. What exactly is CRC? Would wd-40 or pb blaster work?

CRC 656 is a water repelling oil and is not as penetrating as WD-40 or PB Blaster..... I don't reccommend using a highly penetrating oil near the wire since the oil can soften and disintegrate the wire covering.
