Thanks Rex and Mike,

They are going to water test it again tomorrow, hopefully it is fixed. They found the high pressure line off the VST to the fuel rail had shed some material and partially stopped up the injector screens. They also put a new trigger on it, but it did not solve the problem, but did stop the timing from jumping around.

If they were to give up I'll talk to Brad T or see what a "brand new complete drop on" will cost, if I can still buy one.

If it's fixed, I don't think I can wait until December to go to the Suwannee.

One More Thing...... For those boats that don't carry a lot of fuel, there are several ramps north of Fanning Springs that are much closer to the SantaFe river cut. There isn't any place on the Suwannee to fill up, and if I'm not mistaken, the place you can get gas on the SantaFe only has 89-oct.

There is a nice ramp at Branford in the park which is just about five miles North of the Suwannee/Santa Fe split. There are also gas stations within a 1/2 mile of the water.

JR is Branford park closer than going to fanning springs ?It is an Hour closer by road and additionally close to that by boat. I have a hard time getting my Friends from Jax [that you met] to go to Fanning instead of the much closer Branford.
Just make sure you don't go much North of Branford unless the water is very high. We almost sank a Kawi Jet Ski after tearing open it's SMC hull on the rocky shoals. The scenery North [beyond the shoals] of there is beautiful and has springs that lead to some of the best Cave Diving in the world. I spent almost every Friday Night of my teenage years cave diving in the many systems there.

BTW, My Friends that you met won't be there since Rick just had a knee ligament reconstruction from crashing his 'ski while we were jumping waves during a hurricane where I met him the first time 10 years ago. He just could not resist the 10+ foot breakers we were jumping, even though I warned him to go out and jump the rollers. I am glad there were no sharks since the water was filled with blood by the time I picked him up.....

Looks like, Lord willing, I will be there Saturday. Tony B sent be my ACU/Steamwheel and between it an the repair work by River Marine, my boat went from not hardly getting on a plane to hitting the limiter at launch with a 30" ChopperII. My gas mileage is fantastic too, like driving a Prius [6 MPG at 60 MPH GPS].

I am just glad to have one of my toys working again.

I am still waiting for the replacement "cartridge" for my PWC's turbo to arrive.

I accidentally left the boost control unhooked and overspeeded/blew my replacement [new] turbo. I realized the boost control was not working but 21PSI of boost felt sooooo good I just had to try it out a few more turns before I headed back to the ramp.

Are you going to be there Saturday?

The Sturgeons are long gone. They only come during the Summer to spawn on the rocky bottoms closer to Fanning and the Gulf. They will be back in May.

Ya , What Bobby said . You need to be up saturday morning about 10ish on the ramp across from Fanning . Then the party at Foley's is saturday night . Sunday is mostly cleaning up at Foley's and getting ready to roll out . Them Big Mean Fishies , should have been gone by now , but like everything else this year . There are no garuntees !!!

I rode about 45 miles today on the river . No Sturgeon , no trash in the water , but level is low around the Sandbar at Hart Springs just north of Fanning ..STAY LEFT going North !! The Sandbar south of Manatee Springs is visible by a large dead tree sticking out of the water ...STAY RIGHT ..going South and hug the shoreline on your right ( not too close ! )

Bring warm clothes !! Even with the sun shining I froze wearing 2 sweatshirts and a light jacket , but the ride was great ..saw only three boats . Keep your eyes peeled for Kayakers as the Suwannee is part of the Blueways and Trails deal . We don't need any more enemies !:cheers:

ok guys got all my parts cleaned and ready for the block dunn was post to ship it out last thrusday... been in daytona @ turkey rod run was bigger this yr then last time i went 2yrs ago.. c u guys friday nite we goin 2 b @ toms or hotel??

You Two , Are Brave Men ! I been needing to go out and test a new prop , but i'm not going out there in the cold . I'm not going to take the chance on getting sick ,and missing out on this trip . According to what I've seen on the weather , it sould warm up(near 70's) a bit for next weekend . There expecting storms on wed. then all clear after that .

I've got to "test" a repair I made after last weekend, so....I sure hope it warms up a little by tomorrow afternoon! Or it will be a very short quick test!:eek::D:D

That's Ok Mike , I just remembered I haven't replaced my Shifter Cable yet either . Look Like another Weekend With NO REVERSE !!!

I was still planning on going Saturday, thinking if it was raining and cold I could just stay in the cabin to my boat. I just went outside and looked and my boat doesn't have a cabin,,,, sort of like the pothole that didn't have a cellphone in the GEICO commercial......
