I just looked at a 92 mirage for sale, it had a heavy silicone bead under the aluminum rub rail and acrossed the transom seam between top and bottom. Boat had two bilge pumps and auto drain plugs. Do these boats tend to leak? It was in great shape otherwise.

yup, gonna have to pull that rail off and re seal it properly. Guess its just vibration that does it.

And if it has a white motor on the back,
It could be fatal to the boats health and cause it to SINK Quickly...
Unbolt it and drop it off the back, they make nice artifical reefs,
Replace it w/ some color and Hey, no MOE LEEKAGE!!!!

my friends 280/ collins skiracer got so bad he had to pull the motor off, re seal the whole rail and everything then put it all back together. not to mention the 280 has literally fallen apart tuner/mid etc etc. all that expensive junk comes apart by itself :eek:
hows the 260 runnin mike :confused:
