Been getting loads of info off this site so I thought I would join to be able to post or ask questions. I bought 21 Lib. from my buddy Scott at Secord. My wife and I really love this boat. Took it to Hardy this year along with 3 other fast boats from Secord Lake. Hoping to bring a couple more with us next year. Hey Fulltilt if you read this hope you find a boat in time for next season. Hey Drasticplastic, if you are the boat builder from Houghton Lake then thanks for a great job on the Lib. Only thing I've done is put a GPS speedo in and a strap for the back seat. My wife had to catch it at 86 mph out on Secord. That was cool!.

Very cool ride! Unfortunately us Michigan folks got short changed on summer. Hope you get to use it more next year. I've not been to Hardy yet but plan on it next year. Hope to make a few events. Look forward to seeing that nice Lib in person.

Hey Jim I wondered when you'd start posting on here!
I made a comment about you standing so close to the guy in the thong, on the Hardy pic thread thinking you might want to defend yourself.:D
That Liberator is a SWEET boat!

First of all thanks Pyro for pic of my boat. I am running a bone stock 250 optimax with a14/30 drag 4. Its a 95 but looks new in and out.Its the first hot boat we ever owend. Ihave to thank Scott G. from Secord for making the deal posible. He got me hooked by goin out in his rides. I talked to Wildman on phone before, big help and easy to talk to. Makes owning somthing like this alot easier. Im sure he would bemore than happy to set up a ride for Fulltilt. Im heading to U.P. in am for a hunting trip.I'll be back on in about 5 days. Thanks for the welcome. Remember in my boat "guys" no shirt,no shorts, no ride. Thongs are for hot chicks only!!!! .

Badtroll, Glad you are enjoying the boat. Yes, I am the guy in Houghton Lake that restored/rerigged the boat. That GPS speedo would cure the needle flicker above 80 mph., that the one that was in it had (the pick-up wouldn't get good water to it when the hull lifted on to the top of the water). I just used a hand held GPS to set-up/tune the rig.
Adding the strap to the rear seat was a good plan, the stock velcro did look a little wimpy. I usually had people in the back seat (people want to ride in it, as you have found out) so it wasn't a prob. that I noticed (or it would have been cured).
I realy miss that boat, I didn't want to sell it, but do to my medical situation (Scott might have told you the deal) I needed to.
