Rick,
"just about have the deck of the Mirage ready to paint" sounds
like you have something to tell us? Congrats to you if you do.
Regards,
Steve ;)

Rick,
As you know, chine walk is a highly overrated commodity. I think
you'll enjoy the Polecat. I know the boat well. Almost bought it
myself, a long time ago from Willy Attwood, the original owner/
dealer. He had a 2.5 alcohol motor on it at the time and it really ran well.
Are you going to run the rice burner, or go black?
Regards,
Steve

Steve,
I will still have the chine walk for myself (the Ally of course) the Mirage is for Ricky, we sold the LTV to a NEW racer who will join us for all or most of the events next year. He may bring the LTV to Smokin in the Cove and try to run 10s, he was #1 qualifier at New Athens in the 13s first time out and red lighted in the finals, yea he's hooked now. We are painting the Mirage some very bright colors and will power with a 2.4 BP carb and Ricky will try to run 12s with it next year (if it'll run that slow). We will try to take progress pictures and will post later. Thanks I just hope it turns out 1/2 as nice as your stuff Steve, your stuff always looks KILLER.

Rick:
You better glass some lead into JR's sponsons or he may be sneaking up your tailpipe!
I don't know whether or not you remember Jody Thurmond. He
owned Willy's first Wildcat. It was consistently in the hunt for
1st in the 11 second class with a 2.4 BP/EFI.
Best of luck with the new project.
Are you guys coming to Smokin' in the Cove? I hope so, and we'll
be there!
Best Regards,
Steve;)
