merc speedmaster#6 problem

racing#6 dry sump drives leaking on cone housing side of prop shaft .cause?and how hard to fix o ring or seal waiting for manual can 't wait need to know asap also what is recomendation on filter change interval. ready to break into now and repair got the need for speed no one near {merc shop} has worked on one no one near has one as usual need to fix myself any help appreciated
