Is a 1.78 a good gear 4 racing just hear muc about them is it wort puttin money in cause I need low water bad

Depends on what you are doing. Alot use 2:1 and others 1:87. That is too generic of a question to answer correctly.

I want useit 4 playin around andout runnin some of the so called fast boats in the river. Lol. Its on my valero yt 200 carb 2.4. I need low water pick up just dnt want 2 sink money in it if I would b faster wit a 1.86

SORRY, brain fart.... The 1:78 is the small xr4 case. It won't last long with the 200. The 1:87 is the better choice for that.
