Damn "stones"! Remember at 14, 1964 first heard this "Beatle's"! Thing is my dad and mom were big band, Slovak "polka dancers", and stacks old vinyl 78's in the rec room. Then my 10 year older bro had STACKS "45's" old rock and roll (the start new rock and roll) in the 50's. So here comes the Beatles, (went south drugs later.."Number Nine, Number Nine") But fast the "stones" came into play and kicked "rock up a notch" And as they and me still at it, trudge on "having a good time" ROCKING ON if ya will! What REALLY gets me is seen very few many great bands live! First records/radio, then Ed Sullivan.."A really big "shoe" was the first to see on the tube the up and comers! But now? Free on youtube vids "FRONT ROW! But don't count out some the new bands either. And remember long ago went to see a friend mine in Wisconsin. He had cable and just got this new channel "MTV" HA! First saw and first vid, "Golden Earring, Radar love". Simple blown away! Three I like! Rock on ......

Dave! Went town weekly stock up and this coming "home" came on the "funny music box" I got in the ride..(OK, damn radio with "oldies on ALWAYS!"). Back doing the lonely 2 lane 9 mile ride off the 101 Freeway, out the "masses" now, back to the "dogpatch" This came on cranked it up. Simple thinking about yer brother. Hey Dave on "Wishbone Ash"? After out Nam, ended up fast Germany before ETS. But there? We went to a 4 band, starts at 2pm indoor stadium, general admission..(gates open?..pick yer feet up and get CARRIED in the good seats) But Germans like there beer, AND wine! Then it was carry in what ya want. But (can't remember the first 3 bands as did it in German, but still rockers!). Soon here comes bottles wine.."pass it on, more coming". Even with German talking with me, understood. Then here comes the "hash bowls"..same thing.."pass it on, more coming"..(actually the start of the "wave" sports events! HA!)

Last band was "Deep Purple"..started "Smoke on the water!" Over? Rest getting back to base is a foggy mem...

But when total out the service? So I know these 2 crazy Italians, Danny a "polack"..(killed a MC wreck RIP DANNY) and this dumbaz Bohack. Not saying we were wasted, as I forget..(HA!") Went downtown Chitown for a Black Sabbath concert and Wishbone Ash was the opener for BS. Damn, in the 3 years me "out country me? Music sure got better and LOUD!

Aint thought about the "night" in decades! And funny as sitting next to Danny..(I was wasted on smoke)..I thought the Amphitheater was sinking into lake Michigan and started leaning on Danny during Black Sabbeth! Shoved me upright and said me.."were not sinking YOU ARE!" Just to much damn fun! And somehow since 73...."I live"!:thumbsup:

Damn as gotta tell a story from back the 70's ( think anyway as if ya remember it, you weren't there!) So at the Illinois Fox Lake Chain party house W/E's, ended up after a divorce, ended up hooking up with Laura (bartender, and NEVER paid for anything)! At the "Happy Ours Resort lake front, 100 feet away us house. (Now leveled and condos)

So one late night Sat, 2am, ready to shut the lights off, and clean up as dead. But here come 7 "long hairs" in looking for a few beers and shoot some pool. Laura said come on in, but thats it as gotta close down. Well, they order some beer and ask "can ya make us some Pizza? Then it hit Laura, (also a rock freak) looked at the pool player who was shooting pool with one arm? Then it hit her as DAMN, "are you the band Def Leppord? Yep, just played a club in town, and looking for some "relax" with being hassled.
Well Laura says? "Look I gotta shut the lights off, and lock the door, but ya if ya want can stay here all night as we have cabins for rent but use if ya need free if needing a crash out and the pie and beers? On US! Relax...

Dave :) Nope, had a drizzle this morning (missed it but saw street puddle.), did a boat gas up 25 gallons bathed and still the drive, back the slip a month Monday high tide. Took all day, as these neighbors showed up, and really got zip done but have a BS session (solve the worlds problems, plus bought there own drinks instead mooching off me)! Been a great day! Damn, every day I wake up first thing morning (at noon) thinking..Oh boy, here we go again life.."bring it on". Plus when I say "couch time?..could take 4 hours easy. Rock on Dave! Plus after 21 YEARS retired? "WTF is a Friday?" I don't wear a watch, just look calender once a month! Only day I pay attention too? Wednesday night...take the garbage and recycle out! Me now vacations? Town once a week, and exercise is "getting the mail end the drive"..and its all up hill both ways...HA!

HA! On Otis, thats what I ended up doing yesterday! Lauch the dogs boat back in the slip a month, PERFECT launch alone (why is when I do it right nobody looking?) went out, saw a friend in the bay, rafted up, killing Corona's and floating with the tide. He stayed out, and I went back the slip with wind and tide currents, STILL a perfect "slip"..(again no one looking!).

Covered up and I'm 2 slips of the main dock. Adirondack chair end the dock, sat and had a cold one, "watching the tide roll away..(in really). Great day!

On a roll here. Thing is I KNEW John Belusi! not personal but talked him many times playing 2nd city. But one day had to do a late shift work, so left for the lake Sat morning heading on RT12 to Fox lake chain. So I go over a bridge rise, and many flat beds, cranes, AND COUPLE DOZEN old "black and whites, cops cars all crashed up? But when I saw the movie? It was filmed early Sat morning sunrise. as I know that road too damn well)! Had I didn't have to work late? They blocked the road off...probably same time I got there. Had a great day! Went down the slipped boat, little more gas, and some cover work. Had a few beers as "whats the rush anyway"? So sit and watch the Seals and a LOTS of new pups, "learning how to flip up the log boom, "sunning". Then hit the main dock chair that is COMFY as over looked the bay., killed the last beer. (Sitting watch the tide come in). But saw the finger piers need some work. So back to the scooter rat marina runner, and stop clubhouse office. Walk in with no shirt, and Marcie says, no shirt no shows no service! Of course kidding but I said her, "OK, ya can't tell from behinds the deck no shoes, and let me borrow YER shirt!

But first a pic the "seal pup" taken b4, but still the same today. he little chit is struggling to get up, and with mom flipping it up help? Gets on and falls off the other side! Here we go again! Finally after 20 minutes this, pup finally on and relax? BS! Moma slips in the water like saying "lesson over!" Pup looked at me like "WTF"? Gotta love nature!

Little story first. Putting one boat away in front season. Radio/cassette player in the "dogs boat" on (original 27 years ago). As I can only get AM where I'm at, found some crazy station that plays big band old tunes, and always something funny too. Heard this song, "Dumpster diving" probably from the 20's. Simple laughed my ass off! But I can't find it, so this will do for now. PLUS? I grew up with a wacko friend school. We both ended up Nam, but "Good old Rog"? Never had a job, never a house, did help some the old people we knew (parents us kids) for a place to stay. He's been all over the world since and has 380,000 miles his old BMW bike and probably the same on his bicycle. Never owed a car. Collects "Banana stickers" from everywhere, and steals tire "valve caps" off cars and a zillion his collection. And he NEVER passes up something side the road, much less a dumpster "to dive". Dude is one known me that ???????????..hell I dunno? But always entertaining with "stupid" stuff. Some day I'll meet normal people, (and probably the worst 2 minutes my life!):thumbsup:

I did NOT start it, but some jerk tossed a mustard covered hot dog and hit my GF so I kicked his ass silly. Later, had to go court a "loud muffler" ticket my old 57 650 Triumph.
