Don't care brand or style, just need it for testing purposes.
Maybe even a loaner for a couple of months??
Have decided to move forward on a project on a "no Budget" basis.
Also, still need an electric pump and reg if anyone has one of those for cheap too.
Am going to temporary rig for this fall and then pull everything back off/out to re-paint deck and re-rig with real gauges when I find a G*& DA*% JOB!!
If any body can help me out, I would appreciate it.
Thanx guys!

You guys are the bomb!!
Been totally bummed every time I walk by my project collecting dust in the garage and decided tonight I'm gonna bolt the bastard together (ugly paint and all) and go for a ride!!
Got no cash to spend on it, but thought ------ if I ask for some help and put the rest on charge cards I'll see what happens.
I can't believe the post's and e-mails of offers of help!!
You guys are the best!!
Been sittin in a lawn chair out in the garage drinkin beer just starin at the thing.
Bout the only other thing I need is temp and pressue gauges and they're cheap new!!
If all go's well, I may have the bastard wet in a few weeks :)
Thanx again guys, you rock!!
Gary
P.S.
For those of you that might not know, here's what I'm workin on.

Wildman,

If you could bring one of those tachs to East Lake, I'll take it. My son is putting an old 14' Alli together on a really tight budget-just married. Any other cheap gauges you have, I would be interested.

Gary,

I think I have a Mercury Hi-Perf 10K tach around somewhere - you can have it if you want. I'll have to look for it...

H20PERF, do you still have that 8K tach ? I'm looking for a 8 or 10K. Would prefer the 8, but 10 would do too.

Wildman, if Instigator doesn't want one of the remaining Merc tachs you have, I'll take one. Do you plan on coming to the East Lake bash? If so, would you be willing to bring it with you? thanks in advance.

Only if Instigator doesn't take one, I don't want to jump in on him.

Greg, if you can find yours in all your spare time:eek: , you're on.
If not, Erik, you are on!! Will call you tonight.
Dave, thanx bud, I'll take you up on it. Just need to figure out which one??
Only need about 4 PSI, think I can use either one (think one is 5 and the other 7 or 9 PSI??) since I want to run a regulator regardless.
Send me an e Dave and we'll figure it out.
Thanx againg guys, you're dah best!

Gary sent out that fuel pump today hope its what you need,it sounded fine on the battery it was painted with that epoxy when installed the original paint doesnt hold up around salt.I remember taking it out to put an efi motor on, its been sitting but doesnt actually have much run time. Dave

Sorry for the delayed response!!
This website was not accepting "Instigator" as a log in and I know Greg has been working on it for a while.
So I figured this out as an "end around" :D
Anyhow, Thanks a million!!
P.S. You still have'nt let on about your project either??
P.S.P.S. Case some of you don't remember, Dave had an OMC that was "looking" more bad ass than the FrankenRude that I think was a work in process.
