would u tell any dif between a 5 pedal and 7 pedal reed cage i have a 2.4 200 carb motor:cheers: on my valero yt

depends how hi you turn it, 6 k rpm and under no, 7k and up yes, but you will lose bottom end w/ the 7 petal

you'll notice if you put passengers in the boat it'll take longer/be harder to plane

I would use the 5 petal ... OR you can opt for the 4 petal rubber coated reed cage off late model 200 HP Merc V-6 's with Tony Doukas Reeds attached this combo has worked GREAT for my 5 petal front half customers...
