View Full Version : Challenger Dayze - For all Ye faithful
Here is a picture of a Challenger 21 taken during the 1976 Johnson outboard catalog photo shoot at Cypress Gardens, FL. Unfortunately the adornments shown were not an available option...Henry

That's really cool, thanks for posting. If I recall, this photo wasn't actually in the '76 catalog, was it?
Thank you for your reply/post, No actually that was one of the black and whites that the gave us from the photo shoot that weren't used in the catalog. I have a lot of pics from the beginning years of Challenger. George and I were and still are friends, I was deeply involved from concept to the end of the original entity. I am trying to share out what I have and know to all who are stil interested. I just recently discovered your site and am enjoying the interaction. Great site! Henry

Welcome to the site Henry, and thanks again for posting that great photo. Would you be able to post more? We would love to see them. Rich Luhrs posts here a lot as "t2x" - you may know him.
Thanks!
Greg
Hello again Greg, I am working that so...a definite yes. How would you suggest the best way to procede? Should I just continue to re- post or is there a better way. I am in tstill he process of restoring some of the pics. Is there a way to create a place to put them, such as an album. I have started a few albums on my profile, but it seems to me that not many people have albums on their profiles. I wondered whether that is the best way. A little direction and suggestion will probably help the process. Henry
Yeah, I know Rich almost as well as Geo. and sent him a message today...we haven't talked in years...

That's great. You can post them here if you want, or in our Outboard History gallery, which is right here (http://forums.screamandfly.com/Gallery/showgallery.php/cat/503). If there's any way I can assist, just let know. :)
Greg
Thanks again for your help. Can albums be posted or only a picture at a time?
