Over heard a conversation on her cell phone.... regarding something to the affect of....... If we thought 9/11 was something be we would be crying on 9/13........ those aren't the exact words cnn has it online. They also linked one of the cars liscense plates that they stopped in Florida in another state but I am not sure which state. I guess where ever these guys were residing. Bush will be on soon with a news conference.

They were caught, are in custody, and were traveling with a backpack, and a suitcase, both had explosives in them. The backpack was detonated by the bomb squad. No word on the suitcase. Supposedly they were going to "bring down" or "take down" Miami. I got this info from 106.7 radio in Orlandoat about 8 am.

Authorities haven't found anything to link three men in Florida with terrorism, and have not found any explosives in a pair of cars that were stopped along Florida's Alligator Alley.

The word on terrorism came from a law enforcement official in Washington.

According to the official, the three men appear to be medical students who were headed for a medical conference in Miami.


The official said the three are from Jordan, Iran and Pakistan -- and that at least two of them are naturalized U.S. citizens.

Police reportedly haven't found any explosives in either of the cars.

They made smart ass remarks about how we'd all really be crying on the 13th, then one of them ran through a toll booth on Alligator Alley. Then the dogs alerted on their cars which the law, according to the Supreme's is "Probable Cause".

Then they decided that the cops couldn't examine their cars without a warrant. Then their families, who start out by saying they are "Muslim-Americams" not "Americans" scream about their "Rights"

1. If you want to be **** - American, you ain't American. LEAVE!!

2. When the law says the cops have the right to search, they will and if you don't like it, as soon as you get out of jail LEAVE!!!

3. If they were going from Georgia to Miami, why were they on Alligator Alley??? Many miles out of the way.

In this book, the author disputes the validity of gun owners as being able to defend the nation against an organized army. The people of the middle eastern descent have given us no other option now except to do what we have to do to keep something like Sept. 11th from happening again..... if that is even possible. Racial profiling is not good however we are protecting our nation and we need to go about it however they feel the need at that minute. None of us want to live in fear like them and I know our nation isn't and won't ever.

I listened to the families of these guys here tonight bitching about how it was just all in talk...... hell if a few Americans had been in a restaurant in their country discussing something like this waitress heard......... GOD KNOWS WHAT THEY WOULD HAVE DONE TO THEM. I doubt they'd be heading home any time soon.

Any and every threat in our country needs to be handled exactly the way the one was handled today....obviously they felt this discussion was not one to be pushed to the side.... I don't believe our government is going to push anything to the side anymore.... they have to much mess to clean up as it is.

Thank god NO ONE was hurt by this so called innocent discussion.... We've lost enough innocent people.... we don't need to loose anymore.

My point is that individuals are clamoring for their guns against an elusive enemy. This enemy is like shooting ghosts in the night. What is needed is a well organized standing army that is not spread thin throughout the world. A concentrated effort is needed. The sharing of information about the terrorist enemies is paramount. Information is the beginning of the fight. The warriors (standing army) will then be able to follow through to eliminate the problem. I realize it's not all that easy. But what good is your gun against a group of suicide minded terrorists that are probably not in your area, but spreading a disease that may come to your area, ie biologolical agents, suitcase bombs and whatever else you haven't yet thought of as a weapon. Actually what the book "The Valor Of Ignorance" points out is that the government should always keep on top of the many small areas of hatred toward the U.S.A. and all of these small factions that seem insigificant but one day rise up as a beast to be reckoned with. When this book was written, it questioned the preparedness of the U.S. to fend off attacks. The first attack came unexpectedly at Pearl Harbor. This book actually predicted this attack in 1909 and the war to come. We were then stuck with a nation that had to mobilize quickly. Basically, we could back then, at least we still had industry to begin to mass produce what was needed for war. Do we have that now? I don't think so. All of the people who hate us are now making our goods for us and we have very little to no industry left in this country. Back then most Americans were some what physically fit and able to train quickly for the combat ahead. Today there are more physically unfit and overweight people than ever before. How many of these people can even shoot straight?

Our government is the one to blame..... we gave them what they wanted.... there is obviously leaks somewhere...... Who would have thought a paper regarding the 9/11 attack would have or could have just been brushed under the table. We have to take responsibility our government does and in doing so we are all going to pay in more ways then one. Let's hope the ones in charge right now can take care of business. Our lives are in their hands..... we have no other choice but to support them with what they are doing.... Wonder if all of our servicemen and women have any opinions on this situation..... I guess if they do they can't really express it or maybe they can ..... they are the ones defending us ........ Talk about brave..... I'm thankful for all of them and hopefully their families will see them come back home safely after winning this. We will get back freedom. That's what we all live for.

I had an American flag on my car up side down during the Clinton regime. When Bush won, I was proud of my properly installed flag. I weigh 185 pounds and you could probably hold a gun more steady than me. I was not picking on fat people, just unfit people. I am worried about the capabilities of this nation being eroded away by the bureaucracy of OSHA, EPA and lawsuits. That is why companies are going to Mexico and other countries. If you go to any store for any item, everything is made in China. Something labeled "Made In U.S.A." is now a collectible. While I was never in the service, I have high respect for those people that have served our nation when needed. I highly recommend you try and get the book I referred to in the other post.
