Any one know what the difference is between 35258K2 or K1 Flo-Torq II hub kits?

Both are solid hub. K1 is listed for Merc Racing chopper, cleaver, lightning, etc. The K2 is listed for a 400+hp outdrive; but what's the physical difference between the two?

Will they both fit a small shaft Merc CLE on my 260, and are they interchangeable?

Lookin for a used one somebody doesn't need anymore and is looking sell.

Thanks,
Rik

The K1 Sleeve is 3.85 long and is for choppers, cleavers and ET's (A45, A55 props) on the 1" 15 Spline shaft.

The K2 Sleeve is 3.64" long and is for A46, A47, A56 props on the 1" 15 spline shaft. This one fits the Tempest and Bravo One.

All Merc props start with 48 (that I know of). What are the last 3 of the part number or what style prop is it?

Can't make heads or tails of that number.

Measure the depth of the hub area on the inside. Then subtract the thickness of the brass thrust washer. That's how long your hub will need to be. Refer to the dimensions above to determine which one is required.

I may have confused things by putting the 572 in quotes, as I thought those were the last three of the part number you were talking about. :o

I know the "- 28" means 28pitch, so I'm not sure if that's included in the "last three" of the part number you were asking for.

If not, no big deal. I can just measure it once I get it.

Thanks a bunch.
