On the starboard side of my Sportmaster skeg I have deep scratches running from the leading edge back to about 2-3 inches as a result of scraping a rock at idle. There are no gouges nor is there any deformation on the leading edge. Could someone please advise on polishing this out? Sandpaper? What grit do I start with? These scratches are like deep fingernail marks. Thanks!
