Rebuilding my pro-max. Leave the gear on the crank or remove it???thanks

leave the gear on rex, it helps take up space in the crankcase to even out the intake volume between each cylinder.

I was told/read it'll come off but I haven't found at what rpm this takes place :D

i have two on that hold to 10500 all the time. im sure if you spin it higher you might get it to come off, but a rod would prob be first

if you have the means/time, I like the way JSRE putties up the oil gear and driveshaft area, nice and clean, totally fills the void. I'm sure someone has a picture they could share.

i have two on that hold to 10500 all the time. im sure if you spin it higher you might get it to come off, but a rod would prob be first12,800 didn't do it :D and those CCM reeds looked great after spinning her up like that!!!:thumbsup:
