At the moment they are very nice, with a little breeze, but that should pass by next weekend. What boat are you bringing?

Vixen with a 75 Hustler. Slight possibility my HST if my parts show, but winterizing like crazy right now.

Yea, Allys are a little harder to drive at 1st. I'll bet that XR is easier than a Grand Sport to drive. Not quite as fat as the GS. Man I love the way those XR's look - sweet little ride.

The forecast calls for pain...I mean rain. Damn, what would the River Run be like on a beautifull 80 degree day? I don't know. I've been on 6 or more and only 2 that I can remember were predicted to be good weather. At least it isn't supposed to be cold.

If anyone knows of anybody who is there or will be there early in the morning that has an extra Merc A6 (must be A6 not A63) box that they would "rent out" or even sell for that matter,could you give me a call at 803-539-4908 We may need one if I can't round one up tonight before I leave. Did the River Run today, lite rain off and on, not a big deal. All around great day till I got back to the hotel, storm blew in a killed the power for 3 hours................Saturday also shows rain....:eek:

I got all worked up about the awful forecast and except for the wind it was great. Downright hot when the sun was out. The main thing - NO LIGHTNING! Great ride, great day! Enjoyed riding & talking with everyone. I won't be there Sat. or Sun. Good luck with the weather.

I had a good time, we didn't get the results we were looking for but that's racing. Enjoyed the weekend with Pou and the braintrusts at Diamond (Marty/Joe), It was a good test to see what will work and what needs refining. Congrats to all the winners. Everyone ran good and no accidents.
