Recently bought taylor marine finger ported motor with one bad cylinder. On tear down i found this problem see atached photo. motor was bored to 3 liter so not much room for boring also cylinder damaged is 30 thousands over the others whoever rebuilt before put std piston in hole. my question is if theres anyone in pacific northwest that can resleeve and fingerport or do i send block to tayler marine or does anyone want to buy motor, big bore carbs, racing heads:confused: thanks phil

The picture shows a 2.7 bored to 3.0. The sleeve on a 2.7 goes all the way to the bottom and needs to be bored with the correct cutter to maintain a recess at the bottom where a hone will not reach. We have the sleeves and equipment to do this.
