I changed out a 2000 225 Optimax and installed a 1998 250 EFI. I connected all the wires that I could and it won't turn over. With the key on I read 12.6 volts between the positive pole on the solenoid and the ground. Nothing will work including the trim and tilt. Does anyone have any suggestions as what I can do to solve the problem? I have an orange wire coming from the control box harness with no matching wire on the engine.
