I'm from the Indy area and wondered if there are any performance boat gatherings or meets in Indiana. I'm restoring a Hydrostream Viper and will be looking for a somewhat "safe" place to enjoy it. Any local clubs?

Indiana DNR has pretty much killed everything that used to happen NE part of state. Best advice I can give is move south...... the farther the better.

there are a few of us in cincy, but just a few... we have jets and BBC hydros down here. we get together a couple times a year at brookville lake in IN.. we have a nice little river spot in hamilton, OH.. make some 1/4 mile runs. good water, shallow. we meet there a few time too. most of us are on here. badapplesracing.com

Where did the group from the Ft Wayne area end up going when the DNR ran you off? The Ill. river?

they are posted in advance.. some short notice meeting during a week night. i go by suicidealli on there. they are trying to put one on next weekend, but seems a lot of guys have plans, or finished for the season.

There is a good amount of us who run in central ILL. There is always a group of us on Carlye Lake, it's about 2hr west of you off of 70. And we have a large get together every year on the ILL River at Pekin. I drive from Champaign and it,s about 2hr for me to both,,,,,,,guess thats what we get for living in the midwest. Come run with us next year, there are several guys from Ind and Ohio who make the drive.:D
