Morse steering cables

I picked up a 1986 Eliminator Liberty outboard and the steering cables are frozen up. It has a Morse dual cable system, the cables are #300622 216inch. Are the UFLex (Ultraflex) cables a direct replacement?

I don't think so. I would replace the whole system as the helm unit is a bit old.
