just joined to help make browsing the site easier, I'm on the hunt for a project boat and am spending a lot of time in the classifieds.

Suggestion: Would be great if sellers gave some indication as to their location in the title of their post, since I'm looking for something on the left coast and it would help me weed out some of the ads right away.

Yep, Look to the right of there user name. Shows join date, location, and post count. Of course not everyone fills in there location in there profile. Maybe there location should be a mandatory thing when registering. Thats my .02 cents. :)

you misunderstood, there is no way to see the location off of the main listing as shown in the attached image.

if the first listing shown in the image said "1988 stv pro comp - Mendon, NY" that would make the classifieds much more user friendly

:iagree:Especially when it is a new member that has not filled out any info and is clearly here to sell the item and thats all, It should be MANDATORY to post the location of the item regardless if the person wants it publicized or not.
