try deleting your cookies and temp internet files.

might be a long shot but try resetting internet explorer.

tools
internet options
advanced
reset, or restore advanced settings,

I find this will sometimes help solve a explorer issue.

Has the comp been turned off lately?

If not shut it down and restart, might have a minor internal error and just needs to be restarted

Figured i would give ya the step by step seeing as how ya were lookin at a black screen durin the day until i showed ya how to change the brightness:cool:;) figured ya needed all the guidance you could get:D
