View Full Version : Pennzoil 100% Syn. Where to get in Ontario?
Anyone know where you can get the Pennzoil 100% Synthetic outboard oil in the Toronto area? I have been to 5 Walmarts and no luck. Seems like it would be a lot cheaper than the Merc high performance at $10 Canadian a litre.
Thanks

MXZ, I have never seen the Pennzoil here, But I have seen the Quakerstate.
I sell the merc hi-per for $7.50 per liter cash (bring your own contaner)
Next year I will have Merc, Amsoil, and AliSyn (the best), cheeper than anyone.

I don't know about the Wal-Mart's in Canada but the ones down here will take a special order request for stuff that they don't carry. I guess they check to see if other Wal-Mart's in the country have it. Call them and ask.:)

Last time I was in your area, I did a search. I found it in 1 liter quantities in the Walmart in Orangeville. I couldn't find 4 liter containers of it anywhere.
The Walmarts in my region (Regina) don't carry it and won't take a special order for it. I spoke with the manager about ordering 10 gallons and he basically told me it wouldn't matter if I wanted 1000 gallons, their policy is to never special order anything. If I knew a lubricants rep, I would look at buying a 45 gallon drum of the stuff and split it with some of my smokey outboard buddies.
In the mean time, I've been running the Merc. Optimax oil (synthetic blend). I get it from a boat dealer for $26/gallon. My Dad bought a Gallon of Ficht oil from a different dealer for $22 bucks. I'm thinking of switching to the Ficht oil too.
