200 Merc on a Vector. Jp flipped so less than 2in of sb. Motor is bolted to the jp in the lowest holes propshaft running about 3in below. Right now I can't trim much before losing water preassure. I'm going to put on a lwp but what should I do until then?

Block the top water intake hole on the case and see if that helps.

I would put on a set of the Merc water intake scoops that bolt on over you stock water intakes. Do a search on here to get the part number.

Block the top water intake hole on the case and see if that helps.I blocked off the top three and widened the bottom 5.

You should need almost no positive trim. The propshaft should be near paralell to the bottom. I ran mine 1 1/4" below the pad, but that was pushing the limit.

I'm at 3in below the pad right now. I'm at 5lbs at idle about 10 at 1500 and 16 at 5000. The impeller is fairly new,but I'll put a newone in it again. Also I found I had a pinched water preassure line, I'm going to run the boat tonight and see if thats the problem.
