So you think a lawyer's gonna give you free help????? Hahahahaha........Hahahahahaha. Yeah, right.
Seriously, sorry for your problem.
Now back to your question: Call the postal inspection department if any part of this transaction involved the US Mail. Your local post office has a number to contact them if you don't see it in the phone book. They're real serious when it comes to mail fraud and use the term to cover most anything where somebody uses the mail to screw somebody.
If you can make the guy aware of your intention to contact them, if he's got any brains he'll try to avoid it.
Good luck.

sorry to hear that. what boat/motor is it? I have a 32" Prather racing tunnel with 7.5 cc outboard. it's a blast. this things a screamer. if your new to the rc boat stuff then i have 1 tip for you. invest in a sponge and put it in the radio box. it will save your stuff. blow overs are common and sometimes the boat sits upside down until you can fish it out. i have a sealed radio box and water still finds it way in there. have fun

I too have a few R/C boats: 40" gas V, 36" nitro hydro, 24" nitro V and a 18"electric tunnel. When (hopefully) you get your R/C boat, if you have any questions e-mail me and hopefully I will be able to answer them for you. I've been doing this for a few years now and have built and painted all my boats myself. You would be supprised how I use the same setups for my Big boats and how I can try stuff on the R/C's to see if it works. :D
Thanks guys,I talked to him last night and told him he has till friday to either give me the boat or my money he said he would refund my money so we will see.The boat is a 36 inch HTB tunnel with a modified 7.5 k&b with an irwin stinger on it,runs on 60% nitro at 60 mph.To bad i really wanted it.
