Omc quickstart wiring

I changed my heads on the 150 crossflow to some heads from 1978 and there is no wire to connect the white/black wire coming from the powerpack. Therefore quickstart will not disable. Any Ideas short of permanently disabling quickstart? Thanks

on the loopers you just disconnect the orange/black wires and seal them seperately. dono if that helps?

from the original heads fit in the new head......ull have to take the cover off to do it but it should fit.........if u dont want to do that....GROUND the black white wire from the pack to a good ground......that will make it think the heads up to temp and itll come out of quickstart............

ok, I can pull the old one out. What is the best way to get the old temp sensors out without damaging it? Thanks

ok I got it out. You just take the water jacket off and the sensor comes right out. Which is what you had described. Thanks
