All you need is any of the all in one printer/scanners on the market. They all come with scanning software that will do it all. The best part is they have gotten rael cheap but still do a good job.

I hope someone can do this for you parker. Don't think your dads memories are not appreciated on here, I think there is tons of positive comments on the stuff so far.
I don't think the hardware is what the issue is, it is the time. I scanned a bit of Parker's slides and posted them without color correcting them. It was quite a chore, but worth it.
Maybe this could be done with a group of folks, so it is not such a task for one individual. I know me, jody and greg have all scanned and posted these images, I think I burnt a disk of the ones I did, so we would have digital copies to work from on some, so as not to keep re-inventing the wheel.

Parker, I have a new HP photo quality scanner. I would be willing to scan them and clean them up and put them on disc. It might take a couple months to complete. I am racing at Kankakee over labor day if you know someone coming up you could send them if you are still needing someone to do them. Barry

Parker have you a scan? If you have time to spend put the pics on that scan and post them on a forum.
To correct then the colors etc each of us will think about doing it alone.

I'd be happy to do it but I'm in Spain! If you trust the postal service let me know!

just buy a scanner. i will come down that way and show you how to use it. that way you dont have to worry about sending the pictures or waiting for anyone else to do it for you when you can easily do it your self.

I have PLENTY of time over the winter, but man, trusting all that to the postal service between here and there. I browse through those posts quite often and sure do appreciate all the time spent on it all.

I get laid off at the end of October and by then I'm done at my home shop except maybe for a few stragglers. Also I have a couple "procedures" on my back and wrist scheduled so I'll have plenty of time to be parked in front of a computer while I'm laid up. I plan on being at Jasper if you are headed there.
