I've ordered two gallons of clear Gel-coat to recoat my boat. Now I find my gun's are not good enough for the stuff. Old Sharpe 75 and 775.

I don't want to spend a bundle of money so I'm hoping some of ya'll can recommend a not so expensive gun to spray the stuff, and still get a good finish.

Have any of you used Duratec High Gloss additive? Salesman convenced me this was the greatest stuff since sliced bread. Mixed 50:50 in the final coat, it's suppose to come out fairly smooth, requiring little to no sanding, don't need sealing to cure and holds up like gel. Does it work? Did I get $50 worth of junk?
