Those trailers are designed to tilt the boats like that so they are not overwidth, but when you want to work on the boat or take it on/off the trailer, you can just level the boat out.

We hope people coming to watch by boat take a good hard look at this. There will not be any spectator boats allowed at either of the corners. Spectators will be along the straightaways only... Knowing this ahead of time hopefully will reduce any delays with people anchoring in early.

Stoke,
"Broke out" means your disqualified for breaking your class' speed limit. For example, I race my boat (Lock'd Up) in class 6. The rules are 26' and up to 70 mph, if you go over 70 (like I did last weekend, :mad:70.2) you get disqualified. We carry a GPS which is downloaded after the race to see if there are any "breakouts". When we race in calm water-Patchogue, there are more "breakouts", than when we race in the ocean. I prefer Ocean races for this reason!:D

I'm glad it wasn't Artie Lang driving. He crashed at the end of my street and got done for DWI. Due in court Sept 30.
