Saw a video other day of a "gentleman's racer". Can't find it again. Mahogany construction, mid engine, rear and front cockpit. I want one. Remember seeing a glass knock-off of a similar hull, maybe manufactured in Fla.? Modern mechanical's. Any one know anything pertinent?

You have great taste in boats. Check out the links to people who make Gentleman's Racers. I saw boats from all these shops at the Gravenhurst boat show this summer.
Most of these are built near my cottage. You can stay at my place while you visit the factories. Or you can go on the factory tour next spring with the Toronto chapter of the ACBS - if you can wait until April:)

There are Gentleman's racers built in the US, but my wooden dreams are in Ontario. Back in the 30's the best boats were built in Muskoka.
