Just happened on this from Bayliner of all places, anyway it has a lot of typical rules and hints for boating in it and is not for specific models of boats. Click on "owner's manual supplements" at the top, then your style of boat at the left for a PDF. Good kind of thing to skim over if you are new to boating. It covers a lot of stuff like basic boat operation and care, safety issues, even some electrical things.
They must include this with a new boat, and certainly some boat owners should have to pass a test on things like this before they are allowed to boat. Naturally the first used boat I bought or any of the others never came with one of these and it would have been handy.
