Alright, since I was very little I've always looked at maps and wondered what this long faint dredge trail is. We would run through parts of it in our boats back then, but I never realized it seems to be part of a very long area that was dredged, possibly a very long time ago. Does anyone know for sure what this is?

Very cool, thanks Ronnie. I remember using that cut near the run constantly years ago. I really miss boating there, lots of good times.

I finally figured it out months after the original post, Cedar Creek Water Treatment Plant it is right at the end of those to dredged areas, If you go to google earth & look at it again, not using the picture provided you can see on the ocean side the lines pick up again after it goes through the barrier island...they are the outflow & intake lines coming from the ocean & going back to the Cedar Creek plant. They had to dig up & burry them in the ground going through the bay & then to about a mile & a half off the beach. Took a while but finally figured it out.

Correction the pipe runs 2.5 miles off shore & the facility was built in 1973 or sometime before then they layed the pipes & dug those lines out.
