hi,

whats a good motor for a 16 allison and with proper set up what sort of speeds should you expect?? what do you think of a 115 evunirude ocean pro or a 150 inline 6 merc?

Shortshaft inline 6 Merc is the perfect combo with a 16 Ally. I've run em with inlines, 15" V6 and V6 Champ. Obviously the V6's are faster, but it's an amazing combination with a good inline 6. With inline 6 mid 70's are fairly easy. 80 can be done with patience and setup.
