Even on a calm day(no wind) theirs so much boat traffic in that narrow passage it gets to be a mess. I usually go through there 1-2 times a week so maybe I'll see this super pontoon.

If you head out to the Oka beach in the near future let me know because I will be going along with a freind.

No haven't been out with the crap weather this summer and been so busy with work. I unfortunately don't have anything fast the last several years but at least I'm on the water and still manage 55-60mph depending the load. 98 Bombard Explorer 600 CC with a yam 115 and fully rigged for rescue.

Working on something more fun for next summer. I live in Rigaud and have a nice public launch near my place. Email is below and Phone.

Cheers
John

Rigged and ready to acid wash and cleanup. These motors have been stored since the 80's they both started right up, good compression, good water flow. The 40 evinrude lost a rod so I thought this would be a project for the fun of it since i've had these sitting there. Kinda silly but it should be a good conversation starter at the sand bar !

Now those are sweet motors! I love messing with people, and that setup is sure to do it! Hope they are not like my Force, it emits a little cloud at idle its not so nice when trolling. Not figured out what to do with it yet.

Brad,
Thats the exact pontoon I have except I have small block Chevy in the center pontoon. I wanted and outboard or two, but I got a good deal on this one. There are quite a few "fast" pontoon in our area. One has almost 1000 hp big block and runs 94 mph. There is also another one with twin 250 Yamaha's and runs in the low seventies. Pretty impresive seeing a 75 mph pontoon ripping past some dude thinking he's fast in his 23 Celebrity with external exhaust. Congrats on "boat of the month", looks awesome! Later, Dave

Brad Rowland here on Lake Shelbyville ran 92.7 on GPS with his 25' Odysee poontoon with twin 300s last week. He has won his class in the Lake of the Ozarks lake shootout for the last 4 or 5 years. Good looking boat also and a cool name "Tooned In"

Yankee,
The dude around here is Ken Gowdie. He also runs the Lake Of The Ozarks, and always barely gets beat by your guy. Pretty friggen cool when running by some $500,000.00 Fountain or Donzi in a tooner. If this economy ever picks back up, I'm almost sure this will be my next project. Later, Dave

That would be a good project for you.

I always wanted to see Brad strap a grill on the front, teather his wife off, have her wear a Lifeline and flip burgers as they are passing the $500,000 Fountain. That would be hard for the Fountain guy to take as he is bragging to his friends.

I was out on Riviere des Prairies Saturday and saw that pontoon. I couldn't believe it! It handles pretty good too!

I'm with you on that Forkin'. But, if I had cash to waste, I think that's something I'd try.

Put the biggest engine in the most un assuming, most pedestrian thing you can imagine. I like it.

That thing is cool. We need some more action pics. I don't know if I would want to go that fast on a pontoon boat.
