ok i gotta question, why is it that lower units for this outboard go from 800 bucks brand new to 1900 bucks reman price. what am i missing? i just want a stock lower unit for this boat and the prices are all over the place????????:confused:

there ALOT more than 800 bucks brand new!!!Under 2000 bucks for a good remanufactured one is about rite:rolleyes:

That "new" unit is NOT a genuine Mercury new lower unit. It is an aftermarket piece made in, I don't kn...China, probably.

Replaces most Mercury 2.0, 2.4 and 2.5

That is an aftermarket piece that is "new". I actually haven't heard anything bad about them and I know Bob's even sells them so they can't be that bad.

ok great, this is what im looking for, good or bad feedback. i dont have a fast boat nor do i race my boat, so i may just purchase on of these then......:rolleyes:
