I took a ride in a friends Talon F20/300XS Optimax yesterday, awesome boat. Anyone else got a Talon, I love the multi use design. I am looking for a multi use boat, been looking at Allisons, certain Bullets, now a Talon might fit well. Any other suggestions???:cool::cool:

One of our S&F members had one sick Talon F20 on here a year or so,,,, white and blue, with a 300xs or 250xs,,,, I really liked the looks of that rig for use in saltwater for fishing,,,,, was quite handy on the speed thing too if I recall correctly......
I like the layout and looks of the Talon more so than the Fastcat.

If I had the dough that puppy would be sitting in my driveway. I would be slightly concerned about the draft, but I think the other benefits it has makes it an overall better rig for fishing 1 or 2 people, and light on gear.

I had a Talon F-20. They are a blast but they are not going to take real rough water. I would say that they are limited to about 2 footers to comfortable.

Yea, Greg my friend I rode with said he got a little over 90mph. We only got 78mph the other day but I know he didn't have it all the way and kinda ran out of room. He wants to go faster, anyway he can get-r-dun?!?!?:D:reddevil::D

By the way I know they don't make the F20 anymore, but is Talon still in business. When Greg told me what he had I tried to look it up on several boat links and found a Talon 22, but not the F20

Red, Osprey has one of 15 center console Talons built by Talon Marine. It has twin 300 promaxes and runs as fast as you want to go. After spending alot of time on his I bought one for myself. I love the boat. Thanks to Lee for pointing me in the right direction.

One of 15? The Talon I'm talking about I don't think you could put twin motors on. What size boat are talking about??? I'm referring to the Talon F20 a 20'+ a couple inches and I pretty sure more than 15 were made. I want to see pictures of your boat.

Lanier Custom;- no thanks , to dry, floats to shallow, to much storage, runs to good in rough water, doesnt lean at slow speeds, doesnt HOP,or porpoise,no sneezing ,can go in fresh or salt water,to much deck space,to comfortable, wife can drive it, and loves it, and did i mention pretty fast too. not for everyone......

Very nice, how fast is it. Do they have a web site, where are they located. Can you post a pic of the interior seating?

Errol's site has some shots of the seating. Mine has a 2 seat bench in front of the console and 3seat bench(airboat seat ) behind.
The speed is pretty much how fast you want to go? 80,90,100+ pending motor, set up and driving skills.
