It's a 30hp yamaha on the back of a tunnel hull that I am very eager to drive! Problem is that it was locking up when I was test running it, had a bad connecting rod bearing on the top # 1 cylinder. My local boat shop or machine shop said they can't split it or assemble it with out a jig. It looks to me that all I need for assembly is a alignment rod that slides through the ears of the crank and I could be able to put it back together. I also could hendle the disassembly myself. Anybody ever did this? I'm located in Titusville, Fl if there are any shops around that could help. I also need parts, where is the cheapest place for all my bearings and a piston? Thanks alot! For pics look at the "general boating" section for my other post.
