dialing in 2001 eliminator daytona

have several rigging questions on my 2001 daytona eliminator i repowered the boat in june with 2 merc 525's the blue motor's the boat had performance research 900 hp supercharged carb motors had trouble for 3 years and 100k and could keep the boat reliable so i repowered like i said it has twin 525's imco boxes bravo one xr's with 2 inch shortie speed master satin lowers and 33p herring props the lower gear ratio is 1:36 the boat is hard planing gradually getting the rpm's very slowly when the boat planes it has no throttle response top end is 102mph at 5000 rpm's i know the motor's should be spinning any more then 5250 to 5300rpm's i tried 34px15.25 4 blade mirage prop's hard planing better throttle response but couldn't get more then 5000rpm's then i tried 32px15.25 4 blade mirage prop's with 20 second plane time but at full throttle motor's spun up to 5600 rpm's at 5300 boat 3/4 throttle boat was going 111mph all speed's are gps tell tale reading's i am leaning more toward's putting the 1:50 lower gear ratio instead of the 1:36's any info would be help full

I think that 1:50 gears would work better, more power down low, also the herring prop are 6 blades, mine are on my Fountain, I run the same setup, try a 5 blade merc prop, maximas,, and welcome to S&F........
