Eliminator 21 /Arneson
Has anybody seen photos of this boat. I would love to get coppies of them. I have been looking with no luck at all.
I have always been a fan of the Arneson drive.
I wonder how one would work on the back of a Stoker 224 SST with about 800 ponies pushing it????
If anybody has seen these photos gan you send coppies to me at davidwilliamireland@gmail.com

It seemed like a good idea but there have been several of those projects and I never saw any impressive performance conclusions on any of them.
From what I've read they got so much lift off the prop that the bow wanted to plow and the boat turned out to be a pig.
That's why V drives have the prop way up under the hull. To take advantage of the lift rather than getting the lift in the wrong place. On a vdrive like mine the prop is 20" forward of the transom and that is a CRITICAL setup dimension.

Arnesons arent great bow-lifting drives.

The guy who built this Donzi would probably beg to differ.
