in control throttle questions

I picked up one of these and the direcitons are so so. It uses the the mercury cable, outer cable whick is easy to understand. I need to pick up one because my existing land and sea throttle uses it's own type cable. My question to anyone who has a incontrol throttle or has rigged one is, Does the mercury cable thread into the top of the foot throttle? It looks like it would? If anyone could snap a photo It would be a big help.

You need to cut the outer cable housing to length and pull the cable out and insert thier cable. The Mercury cable housing will thread into the foot throttle. Once you figuer it out, they work great!
