Well first of all, Just wanted to say hey to everybody on here. Some of yall know me as Swamp Boy's lil brother.
Well its now time for me to get a boat and was wondering what type of boat yall would recommed for me to start with? I like the looks of the V-King and Vectors but would it be worth getting a boat of this age(Im talking about one that is solid, not one that needs redoin). Or should I look into gettin a better built boat like a Allison xb02 or xr02 or Grandsport. Im looking for a boat with some inside room that could fit say me and 3 others but also run good a 200?
Any help would be appeciated. Thanks Guys:cheers:

4 people kinda narrows it down. the xr2002 isn't gonna have the room your looking for. i'd be looking at an allison grandsport or one of the ss2000 variants. stv euro would be a good one also. good luck with your search

SS or GS. XB02 is good if you think you may want to fish or use the deck. Pretty nice to be able to walk across the deck with your shoes on. ;)

Allison's 91 and up have zero wood so will never wrought. Thats a good thing. A redo will be a lifetime away. Theres lots of hulls that are awesome and will do 90-100mph with 250hp. Hears a thread i started a couple of weeks ago. This will give you some boats that are real efficient and seat 4 to research. The water you boat plays a big factor. If the water is big then a GS or a boat with more free-board will be best. Hears the link take a look at some hulls that go 100mph with 250hp or less. http://forums.screamandfly.com/forums/showthread.php?t=191059

buy your brothers boat:D:D
if you are leaning towards a 3 seater and an allison then i'd go with an ss2000 or like forkin said, an xb2002. the bassboat makes an excellent lake/sandbar boat and will still run some pretty big numbers. the xr2002 makes the perfect lake racer/sandbar boat cause to me its alot easier to get in and out of than an ss2000 and its faster and quicker with the same power. the downsides are alot less room, and difficulty finding a good one.

And the XRs have wood in them. But I guess that falls in line with finding a good one. ;)
